A Dr. Freeze piece, cut before the album had a shape. ■Written and produced by ⌜Dr. Freeze. First tracked August 1998 at Record Plant, Los Angeles — lead vocals September 8, 1998 — with more work that October at Ocean Way and February 1999 at Record One. Early versions ran eight minutes across 48 tracks.

THE SESSIONS TURN TO JERKINS — AND IT'S LEFT BEHIND. ▤The work moved to New York — Hit Factory, Sony Music Studios — in May 1999. As the Invincible sessions shifted toward ⌜Rodney Jerkins' material, the track was set aside and never returned to the album sequence. That tracklist decision is a Phase II beat.

He kept coming back to it — for over a decade. ■Revisited at Neverland Valley Ranch (2004) and Jackson's Las Vegas home studio (2008) — well past the Invincible era itself. It carried CJ DeVillar's bass the whole way.

It surfaces — then ships, in two versions. ■It entered public knowledge three weeks after Jackson's death in 2009; officially released in 2014 on Xscape, in two versions. The album making room for material Jackson held back is a Phase IV beat — the same 2014 door that let ▤ Blue Gangsta out after thirteen years in the vault alongside it.
