Directly to Daniels: “I want to treat this record like it was my last record. I want to leave everything on the table. I don't want to rethink it after.” The line echoes, almost word for word, a 1999 press remark years apart and in a wholly different setting — a repetition that reads as conviction, not a soundbite. That framing anchors Phase I's file.
